The American Academy of Continuing Medical Education
The American Academy of Continuing Medical Education (AACME) has served as the international predominant standards-setting and accrediting body for continuing medical education for over 10 years in over 96 countries worldwide, providing the highest level quality accreditation for nearly 16,000 member governmental and non-governmental hospitals, 5120 medical schools, 1300 medical specialty societies and state medical associations, and over 610 pharmaceutical companies, in addition to recognizing over 1230 International and, State Medical Societies, Medical Syndicates, governmental and private medical organizations.
The AACME also accredits most medical conferences offered by the World Health Organization (WHO), Ministries of Public Health and medical authorities in 96 countries, over 6,500 annual conventions, symposiums, satellite meetings, enduring materials and seminars given by Medical Associations and Specialty Societies, Hospitals, Medical Schools, in the United States, Europe, Africa, Far East, Latin America and the Middle East, ensuring conformity with the AACME Accreditation Standards and Policies.
IIR Middle East (Organisers of Arab Health Congress) are one of the privilidged few organisations to be given the AACME accreditation approval. Nearly all the Arab Health conferences have AACME accredited hours. Delegate who attend any of these conferences will receive an AACME certificate which can be used towards maintaining thier annual quota of CME credits.

The AACME, an international accreditation body provides accreditation to nearly 17,000 health care organizations around the world, sets high standards in CME accreditation and ensures continuous improvement of CME quality and delivery.

All faculty participating in continuing medical education activities sponsored by IIR Middle East are required to disclose to the program audience any real or apparent conflict of interest related to the content of their presentations.
